About PROJECT P.A.
Approach to making

This project by Phoebe and Anna evolved as a result of a shared love for the process of making. Every piece is designed, cut, and sewn by us — Phoebe in Naarm (Melbourne), Anna in Boorloo (Perth).
PROJECT P.A expresses a shared joy for garment design and construction, as well as the exploration of our creative practice, a particular idea, fabrication or technique. As a result, much of our work is manufactured on a made to order basis.
We believe that making to order provides the opportunity for deliberate and considered making. This approach invites consumers to build a connection to the making process, whilst enabling us as makers, to be thoughtful and sustainable with our practice.
Fabrics
We source fabrics and fibres through local suppliers in Perth, Melbourne and an international supplier in South Korea. We work primarily with natural fibres and repurposed fabrics, which means many of our pieces are made in limited quantities. Styles are produced in small runs or made to order, depending on fabric availability
We also utilise custom digital prints in our work. These prints are transferred on Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) cotton fabrics using OEKO-TEX certified inks.

Our Studio

All our pieces are made in-house — with Anna based in Boorloo (Perth) and Phoebe in Naarm (Melbourne).
