Made to order
Much of Project P.A. operates on a 'made to order' model, meaning that we produce an item once a customer has placed an order for it.
While there may be times that we have some items available for immediate purchase, due to exploration of our own creative practice, a particular idea, fabric or fibre, we believe that making to order provides the opportunity for deliberate and considered making. This approach invites consumers to build a connection to the making process, whilst enabling us as makers, to be thoughtful and sustainable with our practice.
If you wish to purchase a made to order piece, please note that we will need to confirm the availability of materials before proceeding with your order. This is due to using limited quantities of fabrics in our production, which means that your request is not guaranteed. Once your request is reviewed, we will contact you to confirm the order, provide a production time frame and proceed with payment. Full payment must be received for production to commence. Hats are costed on an individual basis, according to fabric yardage costs and the fabric required to produce the design, therefore prices may vary. If the fabrication you requested is unavailable, you will give the opportunity to select an alternate fabric option.
As a general estimation, please expect two - four week for your order to manufactured. We will inform you prior to payment should we anticipate these timeframes to change.
